There are many criteria that people use for choosing a new church home, these may include worship styles, programs and activities, the personality of the pastor, or a host of others. I would like to invite you to look beyond the outward appearances and personal desires as you consider Peace with Christ.

Here we offer a unique style of worship—because we are not attempting to be unique. We approach God as did Isaiah and Ezekiel and Peter and John, with reverence and awe. We are not concerned about being entertained during worship, but in bowing down in prayer and in having our ears opened by the Holy Spirit so that He can work in us through God’s Holy Word.

Here we offer the firm foundation upon which faith is built, namely Christ. Jesus is at the center of all that we do, not only on Sunday morning, but throughout the week.

Here our purpose is not to be the biggest or fastest growing church, but rather to be a close-knit community that is intimately connected in the bond of love in Christ Jesus. This, we believe, is the description of the first church in Acts 2:42.

Here we come together as Christ’s redeemed people not to build ourselves up, but to be built up as the Body of Christ, and then in turn to build up one another.

Here we are genuinely motivated by love for others, be they the students next door at Rocky Mountain High School, or those living far away in places like Mexico, Haiti, South Africa and Botswana.

There are many things that you won’t find at this congregation, things that larger churches do better. But I am convinced that what we have here at Peace With Christ, though more subtle, is in many ways more substantial. It is my prayer that you will prayerfully consider joining us in this Christian community, this blessed body called Peace With Christ.
