About Us

Welcome to both YOUNG ADULTS and COLLEGE STUDENTS  in the area! Please join us to get connected with other confessional Lutherans and become a part of the Peace With Christ church family.

We meet every Tuesday  during the school year at 5 p.m. for a group study.  Join us in front of the information desk at the Lory Student Center at CSU. You don’t have to be a student to join us; all young adults are also welcome, and we always have some sort of snack!

In addition, we hold Divine Service at the CSU Danforth Chapel approximately once per month.  Other events to look forward to include BBQs, service opportunities, study weekends with University Lutheran Chapel in Boulder and St. Andrew’s Lutheran in Laramie, and fellowship activities with various church groups and other young adult organizations in the region.

Summer Large Catechism Study

“But for myself I say this:  I am also a doctor and preacher; yes, as learned and experienced as all the people who have such assumptions and contentment.  Yet I act as a child who is being taught the catechism.  Every morning – and whenever I have time – I read and say, word for word, the Ten Commandments, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, the Psalms and such.  I must still read and study them daily.  Yet I cannot master the catechism as I wish.  But I must remain a child and pupil of the catechism, and am glad to remain so”
(Large Catechism, par. 7-8).

Over the summer, we will be studying Luther’s Large Catechism, meeting on Sunday afternoons/evenings.  Each week the reading is between 10-15 pages.  Check out the Facebook page or contact Reena for more information.

Christ on Campus

Our group is a member of Christ on Campus, which is the campus ministry arm of Higher Things, a Lutheran organization dedicated to the promotion of Biblical, confessional Christian theology among young people.  For more information or resources, you can check out their website or Facebook page.
