However you heard about Peace With Christ, I am glad for your interest in our congregation and invite you to join us for worship and study. Here you will be refreshed with God’s grace and peace as it is voiced in the liturgy and readings, the hymns and sermon, in prayer and praise. Though these might seem pretty standard “church fare” sorts of things, we believe that something extraordinary happens in them: God meets you and declares good news—that on account of his Son, Jesus Christ, he has graciously given you forgiveness, life, and salvation.
This good news is the core of our congregation’s ministry—the redemptive work of Christ Jesus is its center. He is the foundation upon which faith is built, for He is our peace with God, the one who rescued us from our sins and eternal death. Being called from darkness into the light of Christ, we have been reconciled with the Father and also with one another. This, then, incorporates us into the life of Christ in the Church, which is a life of worship, spiritual growth, fellowship with one another, and service to others.
You will find this life manifested within our congregation in various ways. We have numerous opportunities for worship and learning, for serving various groups local to international, and for sharing our common life together. Whatever the context, we strive in all things, as a body of believers, to grow up into Christ, him being the center both of our congregation’s ministry and the lives of our members individually.
Peace With Christ offers a substantial, Christ-centered ministry to its people, delivering the fullness of God’s gifts in Christ while providing numerous avenues for growth and service. At the same time, our congregation is such that you’re not just another face in the crowd, but a place where you will know the people next to you in the pews. Again, I invite you to visit us sometime and experience firsthand the Christian community here at Peace With Christ.
