Worship is an event in the life of a Christian community unlike anything else on earth. In it, God speaks to us, and He gives to us things we cannot obtain elsewhere. For this reason we use the term Divine Service to describe worship, indicating that, in it, God is serving us with His gifts. This is the time that we receive Christ’s forgiveness through the spoken Word and sacraments. We respond to this with praise and prayer that are full of reverence and joy. The orders of service that we use follow a format that Christians have used throughout history. In this way we are connected to the church throughout the ages.
Sunday Divine Service, 8:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Our regular service times are on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. The same liturgy is used and Communion is celebrated at both services. We welcome children of all ages to attend our service. If you prefer, however, we do provide childcare during services for those four-years-old and younger. You may also join us for coffee between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. followed by our Sunday Education Hour from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
